Attending school in one of those fortresses sparked her imagination, leading her to fantasize about medieval life and inspire her story, “The Life of a Princess.”
Fleeing Communism in East Germany, Karin seized the opportunity to immigrate to the “land of the free,” where dreams come true. After retiring, she completed her fantasy story and published a children’s book.
